John Baroody - Managing Director, Communications Services

John is a skilled marketing executive who brings a wide range of in-depth knowledge to bear in strategic planning and communication strategies for DJG clients. Previously a consultant to DJG in the mid-nineties, he joined the firm full-time in December, 1999.

John's experience extends equally into both the media and advertising spheres. He began his career in advertising, worked for companies including FCB and Interpublic, and served as Media Director at two New York agencies. John's responsibilities during his agency tenure encompassed marketing, research, and media planning/buying.

John moved to the media side ten years ago with News Corp. He served as Director of Marketing at Primedia’s Automobile Magazine for seven years and at Meredith Integrated Marketing. John's experience in publishing has included marketing, sales development, research, promotion, event marketing, custom publishing, and public relations. At DJG, John manages all media services, advertising communications, creative strategy planning and public relations.
