Rick Jones - President and CEO

Rick Jones has been President and CEO of DJG Marketing since its founding in 1993. In addition to starting their marketing services business, he has overseen DJG’s growth and industry branding. DJG companies include ProCirc - the top circulation management outsourcing company, WRSS – the leading distributor of magazines to public places, and DJG Marketing Services which provides outsourced marketing services.

He has a long ad agency career as a Media Director, and was Director, Research and Marketing Development at Reader’s Digest, prior to starting DJG. Also a former senior ad salesperson at The Digest, Rick’s balanced career gives him a unique view on publishing and media challenges from many varied perspectives. His agency background includes Ogilvy and Mather, Foote, Cone & Belding and BBDO - both in New York and San Francisco.

Rick is a graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University with a triple major in journalism, politics and government and speech communications. He has spoken frequently to industry groups on Media as Brands and Sales and Marketing Excellence via smart, strategic and compelling storytelling.
