Mark Peterson - Mark Peterson – EVP, DJG Marketing, President, ProCirc Retail Solutions

Joining DJG in May, 2004, Mark brings a very senior publishing management background to the firm and leads the firm’s entry into the newsstand advisory business. ProCirc RSG is the first line extension of ProCirc’s respected brand name. The newsstand environment remains very challenging and takes a new level of service and reporting to compete effectively. Mark and his ProCirc team have rapidly built a client base of more than a dozen topflight publishers.

Prior to joining DJG, Mark served as Chief Operating Officer of Vanguarde Media – publisher of Savoy, Honey and Heart & Soul, and before that President of Primedia’s Youth Entertainment Group. Mark’s rise into general management grew from his vast expertise in the single copy business. He ran the single copy operation for all of Primedia’s consumer magazine business.

Earlier in Mark’s career, he served as Executive Director, Distribution at Hearst Magazines and Marketing Director, Murdoch Magazines Distribution.

A key part of DJG’s management team, Mark also helps build DJG’s management systems and fosters integration among all DJG fields of expertise.
